2017 Longlist Announced - Red Room Poetry Fellowship

By Kristy Wan

This that breath cannot erase
is yours and all yours to fly.

~ excerpt from ‘The Kite’ by Emily Ballou

Red Room Poetry is pleased to announce the longlist for the inaugural Red Room Poetry Fellowship. We wish to thank each applicant for taking the time for the well-considered submissions. It was with intrigue and wonder that we read the inspirations and poetic adventures that they have been working on.

This longlist is a shining reflection on the high calibre of the creative individuals that we have worked with since our inception in 2003. We wish to share each name with a sample of their poetry from a Red Room project that they worked on.
