Elena Knox

Elena’s first collection, Fat Bad Plan, was published in 2002 by Vagabond Press. Her poetry has appeared in Slope:ozerotica, DIVAN, LINQ, Sport (NZ), Southerly, at the Sydney Opera House and on ABC TV. Her second collection, Flirt, received a mentorship for emerging poets from Varuna Writers’ Centre. Elena participated in The Red Room Company's trial Toilet Door poetry project, 2004, and appeared on Red Room Radio in 2003.  She also featured in the 'Sustainable Sydney' project with the City of Sydney. When I travel in a bubble

Over made-of-metal trees

I can hear amidst the babble
