Maria Freij

Maria Freij is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Kristianstad and a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at the University of Newcastle, Australia. Her work has appeared in journals including Meanjin, Blue Dog, TEXT, AJFS, Softblow, and Southerly. I’d like not to Pass Away, her translation of Boris Vian’s Je voudrais pas crever, appears in the anthology If I Say If—The Poems and Short Stories of Boris Vian (Adelaide University Press). Her book of poems is forthcoming from Puncher & Wattmann.
