Rachael Briggs

Rachael Briggs is the winner of the 2011 Val Vallis Prize for a suite of unpublished poems, and the 2012 Thomas Shapcott Award for her manuscript Cryptids of the Interior.  Her poems have appeared in Rattle and The Tower Journal, and she has been a feature performer at Speedpoets, the Riverbend Poetry Series, and Words or Whatever.  She organises the Brisbane event Shark Attack (a writer's circle with teeth).
