A selection of posters featuring poems and photographs were on display in the windows of 47 George Street, the home of The Rocks Pop Up Project,  from 27 October- 7 November 2011.

Another selection of posters featuring poems and photographs from The Poetry Object in 2011 is currently on display in the Bridge Street Sydney offices of Dr. Michele Bruniges, Director-General of Education and Communities. 

The Poetry Object is an initiative of Papercuts, The Red Room Company's national poetry education program. Papercuts delivers flexible and dynamic programs to bring living and breathing Australian poets into centres of learning throughout the nation.

Awards and Commendations 2011

The Object of Excellence:

My Aries Talisman by Phi Pham
(Year 6 at Brighton-le-Sands Public School) 

As overall winner Phi Pham won a Papercuts residency with poet Johanna Featherstone. Johanna was also commissioned to compose a poem especially for Phi's school.
