This event was held on Thursday 1 December 2016 at the Wollundry Lagoon amphitheatre in the Wagga Wagga Civic Centre precinct.
In collaboration with the Booranga Writers Centre and Wagga Wagga City Council, the poems were projected onto the side of the Civic Centre creating a visual spectacle of the theme of Disappearing and as well a scrolling display of the poems in their entirety. This allowed the audience additional access to the poems, being in written form.
We had six poets in total present original works on the theme of Disappearing to an audience of approximately 35 people.
As a lead-in to the readings, several poets 'busked' along the banks of the lagoon to create a 'poetry pathway' to the amphitheatre. This busking was well received by an appreciative audience as it got people in the mood for the main event.
