The School

Established in 1956, Farmborough Road Public School is located in the Wollongong suburb of Unanderra. The school is recognised for the quality of its learning and student welfare programs, which focus on numeracy, literacy, student welfare and discipline, curriculum development and implementation.

The Project

Students at Farmborough Road Public School discovered new poetic possibilities in their special objects, under the guidance of celebrated poet Eileen Chong. On 15-16 June, Eileen led the students in poetry writing activities using themes of the Poetry Object learning resource.
