Poetry Object, 2015
Established in 1897, Meriden is a non-selective, independent Christian school in Anglican tradition. Located in central Strathfield, Meriden School is for girls from Kindergarten to Year 12, as well as for girls and boys in Prep School.
In a week-long residency at Meriden School, celebrated poet Felicity Plunkett guided students in discovering new wonders in their special objects. With writing activities inspired by the Poetry Object learning resource, students drew inspiration from their "poetry objects" to explore the magic in their favourite belongings.
Their poems will be available in the Poetry Object Library, where you can explore the imaginations of students and teachers across Australia and New Zealand.
