The New South Wales Secondary Principals’ Council (NSWSPC) is a professional body which represents Principals of government schools and colleges in New South Wales that have secondary school enrolments. These schools include government high schools, colleges, central schools, community schools (K-12) and a range of schools for specific purposes.
Red Room Poetry's Artistic Director Tamryn Bennett leads a session on Poems to Share II at the NSW Secondary Principals' Council's annual state conference in Manly.
Tamryn is a poet, artist and Director of Red Room Poetry. Her collection phosphene is published by Rabbit Poet Series. A second collection, icaros, is forthcoming with Vagabond Press. She is the recipient of The Marten Bequest Travelling Scholarship 2018. Tamryn’s poetic projects have been exhibited in Sydney, Melbourne, Switzerland and Mexico. Her poems, comics and essays have appeared in Covert Plants, The Mind of Plants, Cordite, ImageText and Image [&] Narrative amongst others. She has a PhD from the University of New South Wales where she also taught Creative Writing.
