Poetry Object, 2016
Oatley West prides itself in being a welcoming and friendly school with strong and valued community links. Their professional, committed teachers deliver quality programs with a strong academic focus while allowing for sporting and cultural pursuits.
Leading Educator and resident creative consultant Lilly Blue conducted two full-day workshops with students in Years 3 and 4 at Oatley West Public School. Lilly guided over 165 students on a magical journey using poetry to unpack the power of talismanic objects. As part of these workshops, Lilly incorporated a range of writing exercises and techniques to inspire creative thinking. Discover the student poems in our Poetry Object library.
