The School

Ross Park Primary School is a public school established in 1996 committed to providing education to students from Transition to Year 6. The oldest operating government school in Alice springs, they emphasise the importance of Creative Arts to students from Old East Side and Golf Course Area in Northern Territory.

The Project

As part of the NT Writers' Festival (18-21 May 2017), poet Eunice Andrada ran Poetry Object workshops with 3 local schools.

Eunice worked with 50 students from Ross Park Primary School, inducting them into the world of Poetry Object and encouraging them to compose poems that tell stories about their curious objects.
