Wanniassa School, ACT
Toilet Doors, 2010
Wanniassa School is a preschool to Year 10 school in the ACT. The teachers and students focus on social development and friendships along with a well-rounded academic program.
At Wanniassa, Red Room Education was run as a pastoral care program within the school, with the aim of developing students' expression and confidence in a friendly group environment as well as linking with the community. The final project involved a series of mural installations, with paintings and poetry interwoven as the students' creative expression. This installation engulfed other areas on the school grounds as well.
