by Beau

I am awake and proud, caring
and kind, loving and supportive,
I am a Man who is incarcerated
I believe the true measure of a
man is how he rises from his fall.
I have made mistakes in the past,
but I am willing to finally make
the transition, the first step into
the unknown. I believe in myself
I am only human so I can accomplish
anything I set my mind to. The
Greatest mistake a man can make
is being afraid of making one. So
don’t be afraid of failure, see
obstacles as a beneficial challenge
you only fail when you stop
crying.  You only fail when you stop
