Baby Boy

by Samauel

Haven’t seen you for a while.

Time rushes by.

I only got 18 months left 3 ½ yrs flew by.

I’ve realized its not the time in here was bothering me, but time I’ve lost with you.

As much as I hated your mother for what she put me through,
Still she carried you for 9 months in her wound;
“i would never know the pain of birth”.

When you came into this world, wish I coulnt explain the filling of holding you in my arms, emotions, cold shivers run threw my body,
“still never felled as warm in life as right then”.

Your mother sends me photos of your 1st birthday 2nd and 3rd.

I’m sorry I couldn’t be there to see you blow out the candles.

So one day when you are old enough to read this letter,
I promise I’ll be waiting for you.
