Life on Pause...

by Aaron

Locked in,

as the days go by

to the echos surrounding me;

doors clutter, banging erupts!

like a cannon being shot

in the middle of a

war zone…

miserable, and

awaiting, my trial,

guilty, until proven innocent…

I feel like a old man

but nothing happens;

The prospect of freedom,

seems heartbreaking,

failing and frustrated.

But a young touched prisoner,

Completely powerless,

Searching and determined

to confront his dangers,

to be free.
