Stand Alone

Brian W.
All alone in the depths
of the grass. The growth of a weed that is
Healthier than most the colour of
Green made it suit in close but it
Stood alone. Swaying in the wind. The
Sun beat down and the grass grew
One weed on its own with three
Weeds clumped together make the lone
Weed feel left out because the other
Three have company But it might not be so
Bad because he could be a loner
And that’s not a bad thing sometimes
It’s a good thing if you’re that type of person,
A weed standing alone ain't so
