You use me all the time
My body chills the fingers
Of anyone who touches
My rigid, metal body
Like an ice cold freezer
That hasn't been opened in too long

I am attached to your favourite dress
To your bright polka dot pencil case
But if I break
You throw me and my family away

I am a race car as I zoom up and down
Sometimes slow, sometimes fast
Up and down you drag me
Like a shopping trolley
Whizzing through the aisles of the supermarket

All those little metal heads
Coming together and splitting apart
Slowly
Gradually
This little old zipper begins to fade
