The Aboriginal Writers' Retreat
The Aboriginal Writers' Retreat (AWR) is the dream of poet and author Ali Cobby Eckermann. Her dream is shared and supported by her friend and fellow Aboriginal poet Mr Lionel Fogarty.
The AWR aims to provide a creative, fun and safe environment for Indigenous literacy and artistic projects. There is only one vital requirement for guests: to bring friendship and respect with them.
