Poet and activist Eunice Andrada led a full day workshop with students that explored the theme of protest. In developing the student’s ability to create responsive poetry, she then extensively mapped poetic techniques, linking them to her personal and political experiences and poetry. Across various engaging activities, students worked both individually and in groups to compose and edit their own protest poems, which were then shared with the class.
