It’s the sun beaming through my body
The summer blaze makes it shine
Like a moon piercing the heart
Of a flowing stream
It still glistens like a night sky
When the stars dance together
Its rough surface clicks in my mind
As if it is a red-earthed outback road
Smelling like a hot summer day
When the suns peering through the
White clouds like cotton separating
It makes up my memory of when
This chain was first worn
I was smaller
Less troubled about all things around
A necklace full of memories
That makes me who I am
And still reminds me of I how I used to be
