The Collar
By Texas J
Reminds me of his Christmas collar,
Looks like a dirty dollar.
Feels like rubber,
He used to sleep under cover.
I used to be his brother,
But he’s probably had another.
My parents found him in a pound,
But now we find a mound (of hair) everywhere.
We used to be the perfect pair,
But now he’s just a memory.
