The Dolphin

The Dolphin a beautiful silver pendent
on a glimmering silver chain
Just like a wonder shiny creature
sitting in the sun.
I met it, one day in Bali
We had decided to go on a trip
to a metal factory
We were shown around, looking at
all the beautiful gems being moulded
Afterwards we came to the main event
All the beautiful gems sitting row on row
I looked around for a while
but the only thing caught my eye
was the dolphin
It was like a beautiful silent creature
leaping through the water, warmed by
the sun
I walked over and picked it
It felt like an eroded rock washed away by the sea
I stood, watching at the imaginable beauty of the silent, but amazing creature
I finally snapped out of my trance and decided it was the one.
