I was born in a house
I’m bigger than a mouse
A threaded rope tail
I wish I could wail
When they stitched me together
I was shaved in a basket
And sent to a market
Bought by a dog owner
At least I wasn’t a loner
With three other toys
They were all boys
But they couldn’t survive a dog's jaw
I was scratched and clawed
With a dogs paws
When I was taken away
And stuffed in some hay
I heard an engine roar to life
I was put in a house, a dog came running
I was being bit and it hurt like a knife.
